Flexible and Affordable
The Temetra Mobile app is available for Apple iOS and iPad OS and can run on smartphones and tablets. This unmatched variety of choices allows the company to choose the best and most affordable device for each employee.
Connected
The mobile workforce can be online throughout the day. Data synchronization uses any Internet connection (cellular, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet) from anywhere the mobile user has an Internet connection: at home, in the office, or in the field.
Safe and Efficient
The Temetra Mobile app is designed to get the user to the meter as safely and quickly as possible. Codes and messages associate each meter with location tips and hazardous conditions. Codes and messages can be added to the main display, called up when desired, or pop-up at the start or end of the work order along with audio and vibration alerts. Mapping is available to all users to help get them get to the meters as quickly as possible.
Data Collection
The Temetra Mobile app includes support for both keyed data entry for visual reads and walk-by advanced automated meter reading (AMR). Data is stored instantly and safely in device memory and can be sent to the web server using cloud communications. Anyone equipped with a Temetra Mobile device can collect meter readings and other valuable information about company assets and perform a variety of other field activities.
Visual Meter Reading
At the heart of the Temetra Mobile app is visual meter reading perfected during Itron’s 40 years of experience. A robust read validation process provides an accurate and certified reading to ensure accurate billing. Each reading is compared to high and low limits defined for that meter. For any reading that is outside the limits, the user completes one or more validation tasks.
Asset Management
The Temetra Mobile app can be used to collect data to improve company operations and fulfill regulatory requirements including photos, trouble comments, GPS coordinates and more. Get the most from your mobile workforce by also managing basic field service activities such as investigations, meter exchanges, and maintenance.
Itron Wireless Communications Modules
Itron Advanced Automated Meter Reading (AMR) ensures accuracy, significantly increases efficiency and improves employee safety by eliminating exposure to hazardous conditions. Itron radio technology has evolved with the rapidly changing needs of the industry. Walk-by data collection is performed with the compact Itron Mobile Radio that uses Bluetooth® to connect to the Temetra app on a variety of mobile devices. Itron radios support wake-up and bubble-up modules. Itron communication modules can be deployed selectively on hard-to-access meters, in select regions or across the entire population and easily migrated to network based communications ensuring a safe and smart investment.

Certified the application on iOS 17.
Added the Route Details view, displaying current routes loaded with work progress. When loading a large number of meters to read in Drive-by mode, if the number of advanced commands exceeds the capacity of the radio, the user can de-select routes to send commands to the radio. This allows continuation of processing without the need to change assignments on the server.
Fixed an issue where cancelling taking of a photo during read validation failure would cause the remaining validation steps not to be executed.

Temetra Mobile users can now sign in without assigned work. This replaces the limited Radio Reads functionality of v1.16.
Temetra Mobile users that use the normal sign in will be asked every 12 hours to verify their user credentials.
The latest IMR-SDK includes fixes for Bluetooth connectivity issues for iOS devices.
Fixed issue where selecting a Read Type with a blank description (when adding a New Service) caused the mobile application to crash. Now the Read Type code will be displayed if it does not have a description.
Sign In screen text for switching between sign in methods was updated to be more descriptive on iOS devices.

Temetra Mobile has implemented new icons to show the user if any optional Advanced AMR requests are unprocessed.
The Radio Reads view displays any additional Out of Route reads collected. Individual reads can be deleted.
A new Sign In mode is now available that allows a user to sign in without having work assigned. Functionality is limited to the Radio Reads view and the Settings view to configure the radio.
To reduce photo upload times, photos are now resized to approximately 1/3 of the device’s photo resolution. Exact reduced size depends on the device and the original photo resolution.
